Hana Smeeth
I have over 20 years’ experience of working with young people and their families; this has included community art projects and intergenerational work, leading onto my completing Art Psychotherapy and Environmental Arts Therapy training.
For the past eight years, I have worked within child and adolescent mental health services where my interest has focused on family work, exploring how people relate, connect, and communicate. I am particularly curious about what happens to the quality of relationships when difficulties arise, and how people come together to move forward. My practice increasingly moves beyond work with individuals to consider wider contexts and less formal therapeutic spaces. I find it a privilege to hear people’s stories and to witness the ways creativity and connection can support change.
