Peace Chikurukuta

Trainee CBT Therapist

I am a Trainee CBT Therapist currently completing my MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Alongside my clinical training, I have experience as an LD support worker and family support worker in Social Services, supporting neurodiverse adults, young people, and families in complex, high-need contexts.

I value a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy, working alongside clients to develop a shared understanding of their difficulties and build practical skills that support lasting change. I am particularly interested in culturally responsive practice and the role of Indigenous Knowledge Systems in mental health, recognising the importance of culture, identity, and community in shaping psychological experiences.

I aim to provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental therapeutic space, supporting clients to feel empowered and confident in using the tools they develop during and beyond therapy
