Jillian Fitzgerald

I’m a Trainee Family Therapist with a background in child protection social work and a strong interest in systemic approaches to supporting children and families. I began my career nearly ten years ago in a child protection team in London and have since worked in a range of frontline and leadership roles.

I am trained in assessments for harmful sexual behaviour and in Video Interactive Guidance (VIG), an intervention that promotes attunement, sensitivity, and mentalization in relationships. I have recently worked as a trainee family therapist within CAMHS and am currently completing an MSc in Family Therapy at King’s College London.

My practice is relational and strengths-based, with a focus on helping families navigate complex dynamics, develop a greater understanding, and build better feeling connections.
